- * Codes 9CC9 and 9CD1 (squib open on passenger side) are present. There is an Air Bag connector, under the passenger seat, that is broken, will not make a solid connection, and needs to be replaced. There are 2 red wire ties holding the connectors together, indicating someone has worked on this issue before. Because of the nature of the repair needed, and given the sensitivity of the Air Bag System, the vehicle needs a Mercedes-Benz specialist or dealership to complete the repairs.
